Who are we?
We are a private, forward-thinking nursery situated in central Dronfield. Our nursery and preschool boasts 2 Qualified Teachers, a Speech and Language Therapist and an experienced staff team, to ensure your children receive the highest quality of care that optimises their development. With extensive experience in education ranging from 3 months – 11 years, we truly understand the value and importance of outstanding learning opportunities.
Our staff provide a caring and nurturing environment, where children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, develop their imagination and broaden their understanding of the world. Children are empowered to develop their creativity and become independent, motivated and enthusiastic learners. Little Feet nursery offers a safe, secure and inclusive environment. In our homely and welcoming nursery, we deliver care to children from the age of 3 months to school age. Our qualified teachers and experienced staff team intellectually stimulate, nurture and challenge each and every child, taking into consideration individual needs and interests.
Our team
A team of highly qualified and experienced childcare professionals manage the Nursery.
Sophie, Director of Little Feet, was previously Early Years Lead at Dore Primary School. Sophie’s experience proves vital in getting our children school ready, socially, emotionally and academically.
Vicky, Director of Little Feet, is an Early Years Speech and Language Therapist. This allows for support to be given for children’s language, communication and development at no extra cost to parents and also means there is a significant emphasis on language development throughout the setting.
Rachel, our Nursery manager, who has been in the industry for 30+ years, is amazing at driving improvements to the nursery, always looking for ways in which we can improve our offer to children and families.
Emma, our Deputy manager has worked both in schools and nurseries and has experience and enthusiasm aplenty. Emma balances the role of Deputy and Room Leader in preschool. She is adored by the children and preschool is lucky to have her!
Our rooms are all led by experienced childcare professionals. Room leaders, Emma, Amy, Laura and Sophie all have over 10 years’ experience in the childcare sector, bringing with them a wealth of understanding and knowledge of how to provide outstanding childcare. We recruit the best, highly qualified, and passionate staff and we invest heavily in furthering their knowledge and enhancing their skills. This results in delivery of the best in early years education, from babies right through to preschool.
Fees
At Little Feet, we understand that childcare has to work for you as a family and your work commitments. Therefore, we do not prescribe set session times or charge you for anything outside of those hours- we work around you! That means that you can use your funded hours between 7am and 6pm. Any hours your child attends above and beyond those that are funded, we charge at our normal session rates (or hourly rate if it is 1 or 2 hours).
For parents with two or more children in Nursery there is a 5% discount on our fees for your second child (terms apply). We have also introduced a 5% discount for NHS workers!
Fees are paid monthly in advance by childcare voucher, standing order or bank transfer. You have until the 10th of each month to pay the balance in full. There is a late payment fee of £15 for overdue invoices on childcare fees.
Consumables:
At Little Feet we have a daily consumables charge that includes, but is not limited to: All food, snacks and drinks, nappies, wipes, first aid supplies as well as trips out of nursery and external providers who we invite into nursery.
This is not a mandatory requirement of taking up a place at nursery, please speak to the Directors to understand the options available to you.
