“Thank you for the hard work you have put in looking after our sons. We’ve always been very happy with the positive, caring and nurturing environment you have created. Both of our sons have made great social progress at nursery and we’re very pleased with the opportunities you’ve provided for them – in particular: Woodland Walk; indoor soft play; Lego and construction; learning about animals. We also really appreciate the time you take to communicate with us about our son’s progress. Tapestry is a fantastic online journal and we love reading about his activities. Thanks for responding to the observations we add too.”

“To all of the wonderful staff of Little Feet. You have all been an amazing bunch of people to get to know and you have shown such care and consideration. My child has become such a confident happy and wonderful little girl, that is because of the time she has spent with all of you. She will miss all of you as the first thing she says in the morning is, “am I going to little feet today?” She has enjoyed her year with you all and especially forest schools. She has a lot more confidence when out and about. You’re all a lovely bunch of people and I wish you every success in the future!”

“I want to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE at Little Feet for taking care of my son over the last year. When he first came to nursery he had had a difficult time settling into his previous nursery however he has loved every minute with you and he has developed into a confident, funny and happy little boy! You all should be praised for your nurturing and stimulating curriculum and long may Forest School continue! The routines and good habits you instil into the children have a positive effect at home too and he tells me off many times! (All good!). Again, I can’t thank you enough and my son has been one of the luckiest children in Dronfield to have been cared for by Little Feet!”

“The entire team at little feet deserve to be appreciated. What each and every one of you have done for the girls will never be forgotten.

From 11 months old you supported and nurtured L from a shy, barely talking little girl into a confident little chatterbox. Everything from speech therapy, phonics, woodland walks, care home visits & performing greatest showman with Becky - it really has given her the tools to succeed at school & from her 1st parents evening (yesterday) she is performing above expectations which is absolutely amazing to hear & I have no doubt that this is due to the foundations provided at Little Feet!

Graduation was one of the most special and momentous days so thank you for going above and beyond here. The care you show for the children is unbelievable & so lovely to see. The fact L still begs to come & see Becky for a cuddle each week at pick up just shows what an impact you have had on the children & this is not forgotten when they leave”.

“All of the team at Little Feet are an absolute credit and we feel so lucky that both P and now J are nurtured and cared for by the team.

P’s transition to school has been smooth (aside from the overtired attempts at reading books!) which is a huge reflection on the quality of support and teaching at Little Feet. She joined days after her 1st birthday and learnt to talk, play and learn with the Little Feet team. Since an early age she has role played her experiences at nursery at home, showing just how much she loves her time with you all and what amazing role models you are. She has a really strong foundation in the academics, but critically she has also been supported to understand how to behave in a learning environment, to become independent and to be understanding of others.

J absolutely loves coming to nursery and like her sister has started role playing her experiences. Her baby dolls nappies are changed on a constant cycle and she’s forever getting a baby wipe for their noses! She is clearly engaged with the activities, coming home and singing the songs you sing together. She is developing so fast and it’s incredible to watch her picking up so many new skills each week. It is so obvious that she feels safe, secure and happy with you all. We can’t wait to watch her continue to thrive over the next few years, with the support of everyone at Little Feet.

I’m sure that lots of people have referenced individuals in the team, but actually our experience is that both girls love every single of you and have been lucky enough to spend time with you all.

Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for them both. You truly are an incredible team”.

“Firstly, what a great idea and thanks so much for asking parents and carers to input. This is indicative of what an inclusive nursery Little Feet is. We feel like all of the staff we get to know through A are an extended part of our family.

  • Appreciation for making nursery days fun and happy - all of Little Divers but special thanks to Laura who stepped in and provide emotional continuity and support when A's key worker left.

  • Appreciation for encouraging a love of learning - Becky and Anya, who have both worked with A to harness her enthusiasm for learning about the world around her and support really good foundations for school.

I also want to show appreciate to the leadership team who have established an outstanding EYFS learning provision for all pupils and remained focused on this objective, including through an Ofsted visit. I think one of the most impressive things about Little Feet is that it is giving all children - no matter their background - an excellent, rich learning environment that will give them a head start before school. This is so crucial but I think can fall under the radar”.

“Thank you to Vicky for putting together plans to help E with his speech and language, and all the wonderful Little Divers staff - Laura, the two Liv's, Sophie, and of course fabulous key worker Emma, putting those plans into action. E's communication has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few months, and I feel that is down to the dedication and energy of his brilliant nursery teachers”.

“Honestly I cannot thank all of you enough - right from day one of Lonnie joining little feet, he has loved it and always comes out beaming and chatting about how much of a brilliant day he has! Thank you to Mary and Patricia for keeping their surroundings so clean and their tummies well fed! There is always a lovely smell of the kids lunch whenever I have picked up at lunch time, and I often see Mary making sure everywhere looks clean and tidy!”
