We are a private, forward-thinking nursery situated in central Dronfield. Our nursery and preschool boasts 3 Qualified Teachers, a Specialist on-site Speech and Language Therapist and an experienced staff team, to ensure your children receive the highest quality of care that optimises their development.
With extensive experience in education ranging from 3 months – 11 years, we truly understand the high value and importance of outstanding learning opportunities.
Our staff provide a caring and nurturing environment, where children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, develop their imagination and broaden their understanding of the world. Children are empowered to develop their creativity and become independent, motivated and enthusiastic learners.

Little Feet nursery offers a safe, secure and inclusive environment. In our homely and welcoming nursery, we deliver care to children from the age of 3 months to school age. Our qualified teachers and experienced staff team intellectually stimulate, nurture and challenge each and every child, taking into consideration individual needs and interests.
We provide a service that is reliable, flexible and understanding of individual family needs. We offer Entitlement Funding of up to 15 hours per week, with an extended entitlement of up to 30 hours per week for all 3 and 4-year-old children. These hours can be used flexibly at any time throughout the day, meaning that there are no extra hidden costs. For qualifying parents, we also offer 15 funded hours per week for 2-year-olds. We accept a range of Childcare vouchers and many parents utilise the tax-free childcare scheme.

Our Team
A team of highly qualified and experienced childcare professionals drive our Nursery.
Our team consists of two Directors each bringing their own specialism to Little Feet Nursery. Sophie is an Early Years Specialist Teacher, with experience working as a senior leader in a local primary school. Sophie’s knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage steers the curriculum at Little Feet Nursery. Victoria is a Specialist Early Years Speech and Language Therapist, who has worked in both the NHS and private sector for many years. Victoria is on hand to provide advice, guidance and direct therapy to the children at Little Feet where required. Together the Directors implement best practice within the staff team through training opportunities. A unique quality of Little Feet Nursery is that our Directors are both classroom based to ensure our specialisms can be fully utilised to the benefit of the children.
The extended team at Little Feet boasts two qualified teachers and a further twenty-two staff members who hold at least a level three qualification in Childcare. Our nursery apprentices are working towards their level two or three qualification in Childcare. There are two qualified Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) and a Special Educational Needs & Disability Coordinator (SENCO) in nursery.
